🌸 Personal Story & Narrative

I took this self-portrait during a solo road trip to Uluru-Kata-Tjuta National Park. It was a long journey that spanned five days and thousands of kilometres (just shy of 8,000kms return), taken with the quiet intention of reconnecting to the Earth… and to myself. After a full season of creative output and energetic giving, I knew I needed space to come home to myself. Not just physically, but spiritually. I needed to remember why I create. This moment unfolded just as I was framing the shot: a sudden rush of wind swept across the desert landscape, catching my dress and lifting the stillness. It felt like a whisper from beyond — an ancestral breath, reminding me that I am never alone. That I am held. That the Earth always remembers me. This image is not about perfection. It’s about presence. About returning to your centre. About honouring your inner voice, and the land that calls it forth.
