This was a moment of waiting. Of holding my breath. Of feeling the stillness within the chaos. Perched on a rooftop overlooking the Boudha Stupa in Kathmandu, I had a specific vision in mind. I could feel the presence of the sacred all around me — the prayer flags dancing on the wind, the hum of chants echoing through the air, the anticipation of a moment yet to arrive.

For what felt like an eternity, I crouched, camera poised, eyes locked through the viewfinder. I was waiting for the birds to take flight. When it finally happened, it was as though time itself had expanded. In that breath, I felt the essence of Boudha: a place where Earth and Sky meet, where the sacred and the mundane coexist, and where even the smallest gestures — a bird taking flight — can feel like an echo of something divine.
